Brad Grier used to be Communications Manager for the Canadian game developer Bioware.
He appears in two non-story strips as part of Megatokyo's running gag when Neverwinter Nights will be released.
In the story he appears as a short-lived replacement as English teacher in Largo's class, trying to teach the students that "Canadian English is Better English" and "Neverwinter Nights will be released this winter. In Canada it's always Winter." The students don't like him, and demand to get Largo back, writing "Great Teacher Largo" with tables.
He also appears to be in on Canada's secret plan to take over the world.
